Security Officer - Warehouse access control

Job Purpose 

A Static Security Officer is an integral role as you will be the first point of contact for visitors, responsible for protecting property or people by covering security desk in warehouse and acting as access control.  

Job Overview 

In this role, you will be expected to maintain an excellent level of customer service while being vigilant in the prevention of any security breaches as well ensuring the safety of people, premises and property. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor, patrol and secure the premises 
• Monitor CCTV 
• Pat dawn or wand search staff on premises upon access and egress
• Ensure buildings and visitors are safe
• Assist in all emergency incidents
• Manage onsite administration, access and egress control and other relevant tasks
• Ensure all occurrences/incidents within your duty are recorded in full 

Requirments 

• A valid SIA licence - Door Supervisor licence 
• 5-year work/education record
• Clear communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent administration skills
• Must be punctual with excellent time-management skills
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Physical fitness and endurance 
• Good report writing skills
• Conflict management aware
• High level of Customer Care Awareness
• I.T literacy
